Sr. Manager, US Data & AI Risk Management Operational Risk (AI)

Location: Chicago, IL, United States; hybrid arrangement with 3 days per week on-site

Salary: $150,000–$175,000 per year, plus potential incentive compensation and discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Conduct independent second-line-of-defense reviews of AI and data risks.
• Establish and challenge AI and data risk management practices across the first line of defense.
• Support risk and control self-assessments, risk reviews, gap analyses, control assessments, and mitigation evaluations.
• Serve as the AI and data risk subject matter expert for US Operational Risk Management.
• Build cross-functional relationships with business leaders, risk owners, parent-bank risk teams, Internal Audit, and regulators.
• Help define and monitor KPIs and KRIs related to AI and data risk performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, information systems, risk management, technology, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of experience with technology, AI, and data based on industry frameworks such as DCAM and/or regulatory requirements.
• Experience with risk reviews, assessments, testing, control environments, risk mitigations, and regulatory or industry standards.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present technical information to technology SMEs, senior management, and regulators.
• Ability to work under pressure and solve problems creatively.
• Must be legally eligible to work at the specified US location and hold a valid work or study permit where applicable.
