Sr. Strategic Advisory Services Consultant (Remote)

Location: USA - Remote; client travel of up to 30% may be required, often with less than three weeks’ notice.

Base salary: $115,000–$160,000 per year, with eligibility for bonuses and equity grants.

What you will do

• Deliver complex strategic advisory engagements for management-level customers across multiple industries.
• Assess and develop cybersecurity and incident response programs to improve organizational security maturity.
• Develop scenarios that help customers exercise and improve their incident response capabilities.
• Prepare written and verbal reports, presentations, recommendations, and findings for customer management.
• Analyze emerging cybersecurity trends using government and private-sector perspectives.
• Contribute to thought leadership, methodology development, and internal programs.

Requirements

• 2–6 years of experience in security or IT management consulting, security program development, security operations, business strategy and risk analysis, cybersecurity policy, or public and government affairs.
• Experience with technical and operational cybersecurity, security architectures, cyber policies, risk frameworks, SOC or CSIRT initiatives, and incident response environments.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work with senior stakeholders and diverse customers.
• Ability to complete complex strategic analysis independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience using AI technologies to improve decision-making, workflows, efficiency, and business outcomes.
• Relevant technical, cybersecurity, policy, intelligence, mathematics, or engineering training; equivalent military or professional experience may be considered.
