PRN Occupational Registered Nurse (RN) (Occupational Health)

Pay range: $35.00–$45.00 per hour

What you will do

• Provide direct and indirect employee health care using established protocols and current standards of care.
• Collect medical histories, vital signs, immunization information, laboratory specimens, and point-of-care diagnostic tests.
• Perform phlebotomy, vaccinations and other injections, wound care, dressing changes, and medication-related procedures.
• Triage and monitor workplace injuries, contagious illnesses, tuberculosis testing, and bloodborne pathogen exposures.
• Maintain employee health records, contact-tracing data, medical supplies, vaccine storage, and sterilization processes.
• Educate patients on diseases, medications, immunizations, treatment procedures, and safety while supporting wellness clinics and health events.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in nursing required; bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
• 3+ years of healthcare experience required, including phlebotomy, point-of-care testing, and wound care.
• Current Registered Nurse certification and active license required.
• Phlebotomy Certification and CPR/BLS required.
• Occupational health experience and certification are preferred; occupational health experience is strongly preferred.
• Electronic medical record experience and knowledge of HIPAA confidentiality requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience with general office procedures, confidential files, and administrative equipment.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, basic laboratory interpretation, nursing theories, and policies.
• Experience with process improvement, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft 365.
• Strong communication, organization, critical thinking, customer service, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
