Manager, Repo Operations (Capital Markets)

Location: Toronto, Canada; hybrid arrangement with 1–3 days per week on-site

What you will do

• Lead an experienced Repo Operations team covering repo settlements, fixed income cash settlements, coupon claims, and payments processing.
• Manage service-level agreements, reconciliations, risk management, compliance obligations, budgeting, and succession planning.
• Oversee production activities, resource allocation, process adherence, and compliance checks.
• Develop the team’s strategic direction, operational goals, and process-management practices.
• Lead the future operational framework and modernization of internal processes, with a focus on automation and collaboration.
• Resolve complex, high-risk operational issues and build effective relationships with internal business partners.

Requirements

• Previous experience in Capital Markets and Wealth Management Operations.
• Understanding of securities lending, repo trading, OTC derivatives, and collateral management.
• Experience supporting repo and fixed income trading in domestic and international markets.
• Experience with Arrow, CDCC, DTC, Fed, Apex, Broadridge (ADP), and Euroclear.
• Strong analytical and technical mindset, with the ability to analyze and process data efficiently.
• Legally eligible to work in Canada at the specified location; a valid work or study permit may be required.
