Hiring range: $94,000–$130,000 USD per year, plus equity.

What you will do
- Provide quality oversight for test and launch operations, including build verification, issue ticket management, as-built verification, and non-conformance management.
- Plan and execute quality activities through work instruction reviews, process development, corrective action plans, and rework or repair documentation.
- Support and improve the AS9100 Quality Management System by developing and implementing quality policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with Launch, Test, Manufacturing, and Responsible Engineering teams on quality and program objectives.
- Use data and metrics to identify trends, determine root causes, and drive corrective and preventive actions across the product lifecycle.
- Support procurement and hardware readiness efforts for integration and launch execution.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or another STEM discipline.
- Knowledge of engineering principles and problem-solving methodologies.
- Experience working in cross-functional environments and managing competing priorities to meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work on-site in Cape Canaveral and obtain the required US government clearance.
- Willingness to support a dynamic operations environment, including occasional night shifts, weekends, and travel.
Nice to have
- Quality engineering experience in manufacturing, test, or aerospace environments.
- Familiarity with AS9100, ISO 9001, or NASA standards.
- Knowledge of aerospace manufacturing and complex assembly processes.
- Experience with PLM, MES, ERP, or QMS systems.
- Experience with FMEA, APQP, SPC, or PPV methodologies.
