What you will do
- Develop and maintain web applications and user-facing features for Joybuy, ’s European online retail brand.
- Participate in requirements discussions, technical design, and code reviews.
- Optimise frontend performance, stability, and usability across browsers and devices.
- Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate APIs and maintain reliable data flow.
- Deliver features according to requirements and agreed timelines.
- Research and experiment with technologies that improve frontend engineering practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a related field.
- 3+ years of frontend web development experience with React or similar frameworks.
- Advanced knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and at least one programming language.
- Understanding of responsive design, component-based architecture, state management, code quality, and maintainability.
- Effective communication in English and Chinese is required.
Nice to have
- Experience with e-commerce or high-traffic consumer platforms.
- Familiarity with modern frontend build tools, testing tools, workflows, and practices.
- Experience working with international or distributed teams.
