TL;DR
Communications Manager (Corporate PR): Developing and executing external communications strategies, media relations, executive interview support, and reputation programs for LINE Taiwan with an accent on proactive storytelling, stakeholder advisory, and Taiwan media engagement. Focus on independently managing issues and crisis communications, preparing messaging and Q&A, and coordinating responses with business, legal, and public policy teams.

What you will do
- Develop communications strategies, PR plans, and compelling narratives aligned with business priorities.
- Build media relationships and lead outreach, pitching, briefings, press materials, and ongoing engagement.
- Advise and prepare business leaders for media interviews and external engagements, including messaging, Q&A, and briefing.
- Coordinate communications plans and messaging with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Monitor emerging discussions and reputational risks, advise on user-facing announcements, and recommend timely communications actions.
- Independently manage issues and crisis communications, including situation assessment, holding statements, media inquiries, and escalation.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, media relations, or related fields.
- Strong understanding of media relations and the Taiwan media landscape, with established journalist and media stakeholder relationships.
- Experience acting as a communications advisor, identifying PR opportunities, and translating complex business topics into clear external narratives.
- Experience supporting senior leaders with media interviews and external engagements.
- Hands-on experience in issues and crisis communications, with strong judgment under pressure.
- Excellent written and verbal Chinese and strong business English communication skills are required.
Nice to have
- Experience in technology, digital platforms, consumer internet, cultural and creative industries, content, gaming, or other fast-moving consumer-facing industries.
- In-house communications experience working directly with business or product teams.
- PR agency experience or experience managing PR agencies.
- Experience working with regional or global teams in a multinational environment.
- Familiarity with AI tools and their application to communications workflows.
