Senior Quality Systems Engineer (Aerospace)

Hiring range: $113,000–$169,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Develop, implement, and improve the quality management system for the Terran R design and production lifecycle.
• Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, test, launch, and other cross-functional teams to establish robust processes and controls.
• Own document control, including controlled documents, records, and change control.
• Plan and lead internal audits to assess QMS performance and effectiveness.
• Direct root cause investigations and corrective and preventive action processes.
• Monitor management system data, provide training, and report improvement opportunities to management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality, or a related STEM field.
• 5+ years of experience in quality systems or quality engineering, preferably in aerospace.
• In-depth experience with AS9100 or ISO 9001 requirements and principles.
• Certified QMS lead auditor; AS9100 certification is preferred.
• Strong skills in document control, process mapping, and continuous improvement.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
