What you will do
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on instrumentation, DCS/PLC control systems, and associated equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve issues involving control loops, sensors, actuators, and communication networks.
- Calibrate, test, install, commission, and modify instrumentation and control systems.
- Monitor system performance and provide technical support to plant operations.
- Maintain maintenance and calibration records and follow safety, work permit, quality, and environmental procedures.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and plant efficiency initiatives.
Requirements
- Iraqi nationality required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation, Control Systems, or Electrical Engineering.
- At least 3 years of hands-on I&C maintenance experience in power generation, utilities, or heavy industrial environments.
- Experience maintaining and troubleshooting DCS/PLC systems, instrumentation, electrical equipment, switchgear, and steam turbine-related systems.
- Ability to perform fault diagnosis, calibration, testing, preventive and corrective maintenance, and system optimization.
- Understanding of safety standards, quality control, record keeping, and plant operating procedures.
