Hiring range: $90,000–$136,000 USD annually

hirify.global develops the Terran R launch vehicle and the factory and test infrastructure required to support commercial orbital launches.

What you will do

  • Design, integrate, and test data-acquisition hardware, instrumentation, and cameras for Terran R rocket test stands.
  • Support control systems using Beckhoff PLCs or similar technologies.
  • Work with pressure, temperature, flow, level, acceleration, valve, VFD, and heater systems.
  • Integrate IP, SDI, and CoaXPress camera systems.
  • Design and maintain electrical systems for hazardous areas.
  • Collaborate with engineers and technicians to execute complex test-stand projects and meet deadlines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Aerospace, Mechanical, or a related engineering discipline.
  • Fundamental knowledge of electrical engineering.
  • Demonstrated ability to complete complex projects, coordinate with others, and meet deadlines.
  • Successful candidates must pass a US government-administered background check to obtain clearance for on-site work at the government partner location in Stennis, Mississippi.
  • Previous aerospace experience is not required.

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with SCADA, PLC, NI, or Beckhoff data and control systems.
  • Experience integrating sensors and actuators, including pressure transducers, RTDs, strain gauges, thermocouples, solenoid valves, accelerometers, and microphones.
  • Knowledge of Ethernet, EtherCAT, CAN, or Modbus communications.
  • Experience with AutoCAD Electrical.
