TL;DR

Location: On-site at the Santa Maria, California office, United States

Salary: $97,564.90–$168,112.15 annually, with potential discretionary annual bonus.

What you will do

  • Review customer specifications and incorporate requirements into safe, optimized electrical and control designs.
  • Create and maintain electrical schematics, drawings, material lists, and project documentation.
  • Perform factory acceptance testing on control panels and electrical subsystems.
  • Specify marketplace components for turboexpander control systems with attention to performance and cost.
  • Communicate technical information to customers, suppliers, project management, sales, manufacturing, and service teams.
  • Deliver engineering documentation and project milestones on schedule while following internal workflows.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or a similar engineering discipline.
  • 0–5 years of related experience and a strong willingness to learn and improve.
  • Competence with Autodesk AutoCAD.
  • Awareness of electrical standards such as NEC, CSA, or IEC and hazardous-location requirements.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments, take ownership, and work effectively in a dynamic engineering team.
  • Ability to work on-site in Santa Maria, California, United States.

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with Dassault Enovia PLM, SAP, Allen Bradley software, or the ePlan software suite.
