Software Engineer and Reverse Engineer (Cybersecurity)

Location: United States-focused role; requires Top Secret/SCI clearance with Full Scope Poly

Salary: $256,000–$280,000 per year, plus $64,000–$70,000 in immediately vested company 401(k) contributions

What you will do

• Develop production-grade Python applications that automate analysis and operational workflows.
• Reverse engineer network traffic and web applications.
• Work with customers to collect requirements and validate functionality.
• Coordinate with software developers to incorporate new technologies and shared libraries.
• Manage dataflow and formatting for integration with client systems.
• Conduct independent research and follow up on customer needs.

Requirements

• Top Secret/SCI clearance with Full Scope Poly required.
• 12 years of experience, or 10 years with a master's degree; four additional years of software engineering experience may substitute for a bachelor's degree.
• Production-grade software development experience in Python.
• Familiarity with HTTP, HTML, JavaScript, and common web traffic.
• Experience using Burp Suite, browser developer tools, or Wireshark to monitor network communications.
• Experience with Docker/Kubernetes, Git/GitLab, AI-assisted code development, and Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence.

Nice to have

• Experience prototyping web applications with JavaScript.
• Experience analyzing cybersecurity datasets, including network traffic and operating system events.
• Knowledge of end-to-end SIGINT collection and analysis systems.
• Experience developing or reverse engineering mobile applications and communications.
• Experience designing and managing GitLab CI/CD automated builds.
