Software Engineer (AI)

Salary: $163,000–$178,000 per year, plus $41,000–$44,000 in immediately vested company 401(k) contributions.

What you will do

• Deploy and maintain AWS and Kubernetes infrastructure supporting AI capabilities.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code for reliable, repeatable deployments.
• Configure observability tools to monitor production service health and performance.
• Manage certificates and apply security best practices for AI systems and data.
• Provision infrastructure for other service teams and help diagnose production issues.

Requirements

• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with Full Scope Poly required.
• At least 3 years of experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline, or 4 additional years of experience in place of the degree.
• Proficiency with Python or another modern programming language.
• Familiarity with AWS or another cloud provider, containerization, and tools such as Docker.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly and communicate effectively.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS EKS, Terraform, and IAM.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Helm, Kustomize, Argo CD, or other CI/CD frameworks.
• Experience with Elastic Stack, Kibana, Grafana, Prometheus, or other observability tools.
• Experience with certificate management, cloud-native architecture, or production infrastructure.
• Familiarity with LLMs and AI hosting concepts.
