AI & Data Science Engineer (Generative AI)

Location: Milan and Cernusco sul Naviglio, Italy, with hybrid smart working

Gross annual base salary starting from €48,000.

What you will do

• Design and implement AI solutions using machine learning, NLP, computer vision, and Generative AI.
• Translate client and business requirements into practical AI solutions in collaboration with senior team members.
• Support client and stakeholder interactions, requirements gathering, and solution validation.
• Contribute to pre-sales activities, technical materials, and client presentations.
• Apply emerging AI technologies and maintain best practices within the AI & Data Science team.
• Develop autonomy while delivering AI solutions in real client environments and managing assigned priorities and deadlines.

Requirements

• Proven experience in Generative AI projects and AI-powered software development.
• Deep expertise in Retrieval-Augmented Generation, prompt engineering, observability, and AI guardrails.
• Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, LiteLLM, and Langfuse.
• Knowledge of AI governance, GDPR, and EU AI Act compliance across the AI solution lifecycle.
• Good knowledge of Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, and related machine learning libraries.
• Experience with source code management, CI/CD pipelines, automated deployment, analytical problem-solving, and collaborative delivery.
