Location: Long Beach, California, United States. The position is full-time and based in Long Beach. Evening and weekend work may be required to support critical mission milestones.

Salary: $100,000–$230,000 USD annually, with level-specific ranges from $112,000 to $230,000.

hirify.global develops next-generation commercial space stations, including the Haven station program, to support continuous human presence, microgravity research, manufacturing, and a new space economy.

What you will do

  • Conceptualize, develop, and manufacture tube-bending and welding cells for the Haven-1 program.
  • Lead first-build and test activities, including design integration, assembly sequencing, mBOM development, work orders, and specifications.
  • Create manufacturing plans, assembly procedures, work instructions, troubleshooting guides, and repair procedures for tubing systems.
  • Support production of bent tubes, orbital tube welding, and manually welded tubing while maintaining efficiency and quality.
  • Develop capability-driven tooling and collaborate with design, integration, production, quality, and external vendor teams.
  • Identify root causes, implement corrective actions, eliminate waste, and continuously improve production systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • At least 2 years of manufacturing engineering experience, preferably in aerospace, oil and gas, or pharmaceutical industries.
  • Hands-on experience in at least two areas: tube bending, orbital tube welding, TIG welding, precision cleaning, tooling design, fluid systems design, or pressure testing.
  • Strong understanding of fluid systems, attention to detail, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with testing and troubleshooting fluid components and systems is desirable.
  • Must be a U.S. person under applicable export-control rules or otherwise eligible for deemed export licensing.
