Staff Accountant

What you will do

• Enter and apply cash receipts in the accounting system.
• Process client billing transactions, reconcile discrepancies, and support accurate invoicing.
• Prepare month-end journal entries, monthly accruals, and support month-end close activities.
• Complete ASC 606 revenue recognition files and related reporting.
• Prepare Excel-based reports, bank reconciliations, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Research and resolve accounting or billing issues while maintaining organized records for audit and compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3–5+ years of accounting experience, including accounts receivable, reconciliations, journal entries, and general ledger support.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong computer and office skills.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, documentation, time management, and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a structured, fast-paced environment.
