Private Banking Associate

Location: Oakville, Ontario, Canada. The work arrangement, including the proportion of onsite and remote work, will be discussed during the interview. Candidates must be legally eligible to work at the specified location and may need a valid work or study permit.

What you will do

• Provide administrative and sales support to one or more Private Banking Advisors.
• Serve Private Banking clients with transactional banking needs and respond to queries involving lending, borrowing, investing, and commercial lending.
• Process wires, visa, tax, bill payments, money orders, drafts, currency exchanges, cheque orders, and other client requests.
• Investigate account activity and provide information about accounts, loans, and credit details.
• Review client documentation for regulatory and bank-policy compliance and support credit renewals, reviews, and overdraft protection requests.
• Monitor maturities, renewals, and expiries while supporting client events, marketing materials, deposits, and investment accounts.

Requirements

• Experience with loan, mortgage, and investment products sufficient to answer general customer inquiries.
• Working knowledge of branch routines and the operations of related departments and banking partners.
• Strong client service, issue resolution, and customer experience skills.
• Analytical thinking, attention to detail, and critical-thinking skills.
• Knowledge of portfolio management, wealth management, and financial products.
• Legal eligibility to work in Canada at the specified location is required; a valid work or study permit may be required.
