Senior DevOps Engineer (Aerospace)

Location: Long Beach, California, United States; based at company headquarters

Salary: $140,000–$214,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Support infrastructure across multiple cloud and on-premises sites.
• Maintain uptime for company services, processes, and infrastructure.
• Develop roadmaps for automated software deployments across the organization.
• Champion automation to reduce operational toil and increase development velocity.
• Define and instrument service-level objectives.
• Apply configuration management and infrastructure-as-code practices across services and orchestration.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a similar Site Reliability Engineering, automation, or DevOps role.
• Experience or familiarity with the Kubernetes ecosystem.
• Proficiency with cloud services and architectures, preferably GCP.
• Knowledge of deployment and infrastructure-as-code frameworks such as Helm and Terraform.

Nice to have

• Advanced Kubernetes proficiency.
• Experience deploying across cloud and on-premises environments.
• Familiarity with GitLab.
• Production monitoring, observability, and log aggregation experience with tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Loki.
• Experience with Artifactory, configuration management tools, MLOps, or machine learning frameworks.
