Senior DevOps Engineer

Location: Torrance, California, United States

Salary: $165,000–$231,000 USD annually, plus potential equity grants.

What you will do

• Own the infrastructure, CI/CD, and secure-environment compliance supporting software delivery.
• Design and operate reliable, auditable cloud and hybrid infrastructure platforms.
• Make architectural decisions across development, staging, and production environments.
• Build automation, deployment pipelines, monitoring, alerting, and observability systems.
• Maintain platform performance, security, scalability, and reliability.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, infrastructure, or platform engineering.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes or equivalent orchestration, and Azure cloud services.
• Hands-on infrastructure as code experience with tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Azure Bicep.
• Experience operating CI/CD pipelines and runners in secure environments, such as GitLab CI.
• Deep Linux administration experience, including hardening, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and configuration management.
• Experience with networking, secrets and certificate management, PKI, and infrastructure and application observability.

Nice to have

• Security and compliance experience with FIPS 140-2/140-3 and NIST SP 800-171, 800-172, or 800-53.
• Experience administering Okta or Microsoft Entra ID/Azure AD for SSO, MFA, and identity governance.
• Knowledge of zero-trust architecture, STIG hardening, or RMF processes.
• Embedded Linux, embedded system interfacing, or C/C++ familiarity.
• Strong Bash or Python scripting skills.
