Case Manager (Insurance)

Location: Parsippany, New Jersey, United States; hybrid, requiring 2–3 days in-office per week. Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.; additional hours may be required.

Salary: $65,000–$75,000 base compensation per year.

What you will do

• Monitor and manage pending life, disability, long-term care, and annuity cases through timely processing and resolution.
• Collaborate with underwriters, advisors, and clients to collect information and coordinate communication.
• Oversee accurate and complete delivery of insurance policies to clients.
• Lead underwriting negotiations and manage reconsideration processes to secure favorable case terms.
• Document case-based commissions in the agency management system.
• Develop employee communication and education tools and materials.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience.
• 3–7 years of related industry experience.
• Knowledge of carrier practices, policy contracts, provisions, new business processes, and state requirements.
• Strong organization, problem-solving, relationship management, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, with strong technical aptitude.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, think strategically, act tactically, and work closely with a team.
