Financial Reporting Senior Specialist (Alternative Investments)

Location: Kraków, Poland; hybrid model with 3 days per week in the office, or 2 days for a parent of a child up to 4 years old

What you will do

• Prepare annual, semi-annual, and quarterly financial statements for investment funds in the Alternative Investments department.
• Work with specialists across the firm to create accurate financial reporting for clients.
• Apply international accounting standards, including IFRS, Luxembourg GAAP, US GAAP, and Irish GAAP.
• Communicate with clients and external auditors, providing timely and accurate responses.
• Execute key internal controls and manage assigned reporting tasks through completion.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in accounting, financial reporting, or a similar finance role.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, numerical reasoning, and analytical ability.
• Proactive, dependable approach with the ability to meet deadlines and take ownership of responsibilities.
• Clear written and spoken communication skills.
• Comfortable using Excel and Word.
• Fluent English at C1 level.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with IFRS, US GAAP, Luxembourg GAAP, or Irish GAAP.
• Finance or accounting degree or equivalent experience.
