R2R Finance and Accounting Manager (German)

Location: Hybrid role based in Katowice, Warszawa, Wrocław, Gdańsk, Poznań, Lublin, Opole, or Kraków, Poland. After onboarding, work combines office attendance with working from home.

What you will do

• Own General Ledger accounting activities for assigned legal entities.
• Coordinate month-end closing and ensure complete, accurate financial records.
• Monitor account balances and financial movements, investigate discrepancies, and implement resolutions.
• Collaborate with Tax and Corporate Finance on GAAP/IFRS compliance and accounting changes.
• Coordinate internal and external audit activities and maintain compliance with financial controls.
• Support R2R process improvement, standardization, automation, and accounting team knowledge development.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of experience in accounting, finance, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, or financial analysis.
• Experience managing accounting activities for legal entities or country-level operations.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and IFRS and experience ensuring compliant financial reporting.
• Experience supporting, coaching, or advising General Ledger accounting teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and strategic thinking skills.
• Fluent written and spoken English and German required.
