Packaging Designer

Location: Los Angeles HQ; onsite

Salary: $100,000–$120,000 per year

What you will do

• Concept and design innovative packaging that reflects the elevated brand aesthetic and improves the consumer experience.
• Maintain and evolve the packaging system across product lines, retail formats, and seasonal launches.
• Collaborate with Creative, Marketing, Product Development, Production, graphic design, and copywriting teams.
• Develop specifications, handoff documents, mock-ups, prototypes, and samples for suppliers and stakeholders.
• Test and qualify packaging materials, finishes, and prototypes while ensuring feasibility, cost efficiency, sustainability, and manufacturability.
• Conduct competitive and trend analysis, present recommendations to leadership, and manage multiple projects to deadline.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial design, graphic design, art, or a related field.
• Proven experience working as a packaging designer.
• Strong design skills, attention to detail, and familiarity with packaging materials.
• Knowledge of consumer packaging health and safety regulations.
• Proficiency with 3D design software, including CAD or AutoCAD.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
