Salary: $113,948–$170,922 per year, plus bonus, benefits, and equity for regular employees

Company

hirify.global is a venture-backed defense-tech company developing intelligent systems, including autonomy software, UAV aircraft, and simulation technologies.

What you will do

  • Build and refine finite element models to evaluate UAV components and airframe structures.
  • Perform static, modal, fatigue, and vibration analyses covering stress, deformation, and durability.
  • Validate FEA results with hand calculations and analyze flight telemetry and structural test data.
  • Collaborate with mechanical, systems, propulsion, aerospace, and design engineers to optimize structures for weight, strength, safety, and manufacturability.
  • Support structural validation test plans, including quasi-static, vibration, and shock testing.
  • Define load cases, material properties, design margins, analysis methods, and technical recommendations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in structural analysis, finite element modeling, or aircraft loads analysis.
  • Experience with FEA tools such as ANSYS, NASTRAN, HyperWorks, or similar.
  • Strong hand-calculation skills for structural strength, stability, and fatigue analysis.
  • Knowledge of composite materials, lightweight aerospace structures, and mechanical testing methods.
  • Proficiency with Excel, MATLAB, Python, or similar data analysis tools; ability to obtain a S//SAR-level security clearance is desired.

Nice to have

  • Master’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
  • Experience with aircraft structural design, UAV airframe development, aerospace testing, modal analysis, or composite modeling.
  • Exposure to NX, SolidWorks, Teamcenter, or similar CAD and PLM tools.
  • Understanding of aerospace standards, structural certification, and material selection.

Culture & Benefits

  • Full-time regular employees receive benefits, bonus eligibility, and equity.
  • Work in a fast-paced, high-tech aerospace environment.
  • Collaborate across multidisciplinary engineering teams.
  • Offers are contingent on a cleared background and may include a reference check.
