Placement Consultant (Insurance)

Location: On-site presence required; preferred locations are Saint Louis Park, MN, or Parsippany, NJ. Other locations may be considered.

Salary: $100,000–$130,000 base compensation per year.

What you will do

• Produce life and disability insurance product illustrations and proposals.
• Create and maintain illustration quote templates and carrier product studies.
• Intake and evaluate new sales opportunities and manage pipeline data entry.
• Support internal and external sales teams with product expertise, presentations, broker-call preparation, and quote follow-ups.
• Build relationships between sales teams and producers to support new opportunity intake.
• Follow service protocols, including quote turnaround times and responses to Sales Managers.

Requirements

• Familiarity with insurance quoting tools for life, disability, long-term care, and annuity products.
• Strong knowledge of life and disability insurance products and concepts.
• Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills and knowledge of CRM systems.
• Five or more years of related industry experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Life and Health insurance license preferred, or ability to obtain it within 90 days.

Nice to have

• AMS experience.
• Wholesale insurance experience.
