IT Audit Manager (Cybersecurity)

Location: Hybrid, with a principally in-person working model across offices in CO, IL, OH, and MA. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. Overnight travel for client work and firm events is required 25–35% of the time.

Salary: $120,000–$145,000 per year

What you will do

• Manage and execute IT audits, including tests of design and operating effectiveness, supporting internal controls over financial reporting and regulatory compliance.
• Perform and oversee technology risk assessments, security assessments, and audits covering system development, incident response, and business continuity.
• Lead multiple client projects and teams across scoping, budgeting, resourcing, client discussions, delivery, and quality assurance.
• Train and guide team members on IT audit concepts through formal and on-the-job training.
• Support practice development, recruiting, networking, and prospective-client activities.
• Develop new tools and services addressing emerging trends in IT audit and security.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• 5–7 years of experience performing and supervising IT audits, technology risk assessments, or IT internal-control risk evaluations and reporting.
• Knowledge of information-security frameworks including COBIT, CSI, NIST, and ISO.
• Experience in professional services or client-facing work, including defining scopes and projects for new and expanding clients.
• Proficiency with audit tools and Microsoft Office, with strong written, verbal, and professional communication skills.
• Ability to travel overnight for client work and firm events 25–35% of the time.

Nice to have

• Current certification or commitment to obtain CISA, CIA, or CISSP within one year.
• Experience across financial services, services, public sector, healthcare, or manufacturing.
