IT Audit Manager (Cybersecurity)

Location: Remote - United States

Base salary: $135,000–$155,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end, risk-based IT audit engagements, including planning, execution, and reporting.
• Partner with operational audit teams to test IT general controls and key IT risks across critical systems.
• Manage continuous audit testing, including risk assessment, testing procedure design, and workpaper review.
• Support external stakeholders with IT audit testing and financial statement audit coordination.
• Evaluate emerging technologies such as cloud computing, AI, and cybersecurity and assess their impact on controls and organizational risk.
• Communicate IT issues, business impacts, and potential solutions to business partners and enterprise leadership while developing stakeholder relationships.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Management Information Systems, or an equivalent field.
• Seven or more years of IT audit or IT experience in information security, cybersecurity, systems engineering, or IT operations.
• Experience documenting and examining IT processes and controls and evaluating their design and operating effectiveness.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, written, and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience leading and developing team members and building effective relationships with business stakeholders.
• Experience working with teams in a remote or flexible environment.

Nice to have

• CISA certification or an equivalent industry certification.
• Ability to apply data analytics to improve audit coverage and quality.
