Data Engineer (Content Processing)

Location: Singapore, Singapore; on-site. Only Singapore Citizens will be considered.

What you will do

• Architect and maintain high-throughput pipelines for ingesting, routing, and processing large volumes of unstructured data.
• Integrate AI models for automated classification and information extraction while meeting latency and throughput requirements.
• Parse complex content, apply chunking strategies, generate vector embeddings, and enrich data for retrieval and analysis.
• Build hybrid indexing systems combining keyword search with vector-based semantic search.
• Develop scalable video analysis and image recognition solutions using computer vision models.
• Collaborate with frontend engineers, data scientists, and product managers on high-performance data services.

Requirements

• Degree or background in Computer Science or a related field, with hands-on data engineering or software development experience.
• Experience building scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for processing, transforming, and validating large datasets.
• Knowledge of data quality principles and pipeline reliability patterns.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
• Singapore citizenship is required.

Nice to have

• Exposure to vector databases, text embeddings, LLM integration, or semantic search frameworks.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and modern CI/CD practices.
• Experience with multimedia processing tools or computer vision libraries.
• Experience handling high-volume, unstructured data in cloud-native environments.
