TL;DR
Full Stack Software Engineer (Content Processing) (AI): Building scalable analytical web applications and high-performance APIs that transform high-volume data streams into actionable insights with an accent on AI-powered search, automation, and resilient data platforms. Focus on integrating RAG, autonomous agents, conversational LLM interfaces, vector search, and cloud-native infrastructure for national-security analysis.
Location: Singapore, Singapore; on-site. Only Singapore Citizens will be considered.

CSIT is an agency under Singapore's Ministry of Defence developing products and analytical platforms that support national security and threat detection.
What you will do
- Architect, develop, and optimize scalable web applications and high-performance APIs.
- Integrate AI capabilities including retrieval-augmented generation, autonomous agents, and LLM-driven conversational interfaces.
- Design data persistence and retrieval solutions with MongoDB, Elasticsearch, vector search, and embedding strategies.
- Manage CI/CD pipelines, Docker and Kubernetes containerization, and cloud-native services.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, data engineers, and product managers to deliver analytical platforms for threat detection.
Requirements
- Computer Science or related educational background and hands-on software development experience.
- Proficiency with React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript development.
- Experience building secure RESTful APIs with Express, Fastify, FastAPI, Spring Boot, or equivalent tools.
- Experience with MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch, or comparable NoSQL and search technologies.
- Knowledge of design patterns, scalable coding practices, and distributed service integration.
- Singapore citizenship is required; the role is on-site in Singapore.
Nice to have
- Cloud-native development and DevOps experience with CI/CD, Docker, or Kubernetes.
- Experience with AI orchestration frameworks and AI-enabled enterprise platforms.
- Knowledge of prompt engineering, embeddings, vector search, semantic search, and RAG patterns.
- Experience with automation systems or high-traffic applications.
