Software Engineer (Java/Angular/AWS)

Location: Sandy, Utah, USA; hybrid schedule with 2 days in the office and 3 days working remotely each week

What you will do

• Design, develop, and enhance features for the User Hub platform.
• Build user experiences with Angular and modern web technologies.
• Develop scalable Java backend services and APIs.
• Use AWS services and cloud-native architectures to deliver highly available solutions.
• Investigate production issues through log analysis, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with Product, Architecture, QA, and global engineering teams while improving quality through testing and automation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of professional software development experience.
• Professional experience with Java, Angular, and cloud platforms such as AWS.
• Understanding of software design principles, APIs, and distributed systems.
• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.

• Experience with AWS Lambda, EKS, CloudWatch, or DynamoDB.
• Docker and containerized development experience.
• Experience with production investigations, enterprise systems, Python, or serverless architectures.
