TL;DR
SAP IS-Automotive Consultant (SAP VMS): Managing and implementing SAP IS-Automotive solutions and Vehicle Management System enhancements with an accent on functional support, integration, and business process optimization. Focus on resolving complex production issues, leading system enhancements and deployments, and improving service efficiency for automotive operations.

What you will do
- Manage, design, develop, and implement SAP IS-Automotive solutions, including Vehicle Management System enhancements.
- Analyze customer requirements and provide solutions for medium- to complex-level SAP IS-Automotive needs.
- Coordinate change requests, system enhancements, projects, testing, deployments, training, and go-live preparation.
- Investigate and resolve SAP incidents and problems, perform root cause analysis, and escalate issues while retaining ownership.
- Drive continuous improvement, service efficiency, process rationalization, knowledge management, and SOP development.
- Manage stakeholder expectations, project metrics, assigned personnel, presentations, and selected proposal or sales activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science, engineering, business administration, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- At least 6 years of hands-on experience in SAP support, application management, or SAP project implementation, with a strong focus on SAP IS-Automotive and VMS.
- Expertise in SAP IS-Automotive configuration, support, business process optimization, troubleshooting, and solution design.
- Understanding of SAP integration architecture, including integration with other SAP modules and external systems.
- Experience with SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA, system enhancements, upgrades, testing, deployments, and production support.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, analytical, organizational, leadership, and mentoring skills; willingness to travel as required.
Nice to have
- Knowledge and experience with SAP Logistics modules.
- ITIL v4 certification or experience in an ITIL-based service management environment.
- Experience coaching and mentoring junior team members.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and estimation techniques.
