TL;DR
Integration Specialist (SQL/API/Fintech): Designing, developing, and maintaining application and data integrations across systems, APIs, services, and databases with an accent on scalable architecture, troubleshooting, and reliable data exchange. Focus on building REST and SOAP web services, writing SQL and PL/SQL data components, and implementing fault-tolerant integrations with ERP, HCM, and EPM platforms.
Location: On-site in Grand Rapids, Michigan, United States

What you will do
- Design, develop, maintain, and document application-to-application integrations, APIs, services, file transfers, and data integration components.
- Analyze business and technical requirements with business users, business analysts, IT teams, and project teams.
- Build integration solutions using third-party tools, integration platforms, and APIs.
- Develop SQL queries, stored procedures, data extraction and cleansing processes, reports, and business data extracts.
- Troubleshoot integration errors, system defects, and software interactions while providing technical support to IT teams.
- Support testing, release, deployment, and implementation activities.
Requirements
- 5–7 years of experience working with integration platforms.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance.
- In-depth knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, or other relational database languages and familiarity with database tools such as SQL Developer.
- Experience designing and documenting integration solutions, using integration architecture best practices, and working with third-party tools such as Mulesoft or Jitterbit.
- Experience with ERP, HCM, or EPM software; XML; Java or .NET; RESTful or SOAP web services; and fault-tolerant code.
- Ability to work independently, collaborate across teams, manage deadlines, communicate effectively, and maintain accuracy.
Nice to have
- Experience with Workday Extend, Orchestrate, Adaptive Planning, AI, or Palantir.
- Workday Pro certifications in Integrations, Reporting, Extend, or Adaptive Planning.
