Implant Equipment Assistant Engineer (Diploma Intern) (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Support preventive maintenance, basic troubleshooting, and tool recovery for implant equipment.
• Assist engineers and technicians with maintenance procedures, SOP compliance, equipment checks, documentation, and issue handovers.
• Monitor equipment performance indicators, SPC charts, maintenance records, and technical data to identify trends.
• Participate in equipment improvement, housekeeping, safety, and wafer scrap reduction initiatives.
• Collaborate with engineering, technical, manufacturing, and module teams to support reliable fab operations.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Microelectronics Engineering, or a related field through an accredited program.
• Must be in good academic standing.
• Available to work at least 40 hours per week during the internship.
• Follow Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and perform all activities safely.

Nice to have

• Prior related internship or co-op experience.
• Leadership experience in the workplace, school projects, or competitions.
• Project management, planning, organizational, and communication skills.
• Basic understanding of semiconductor manufacturing, wafer fab operations, cleanroom practices, or equipment maintenance.
• Interest in hands-on troubleshooting, data analysis, SPC monitoring, preventive maintenance, and continuous improvement.
