Software Engineering Intern (2027 Start) - Winter

Location: Bellevue, Washington; Mountain View, California; or San Francisco, California

Salary: $54–$60 per hour in the San Francisco Bay Area; $51.50–$60 per hour in Bellevue, Washington

What you will do

• Build features that contribute directly to the Databricks platform.
• Work with an engineering team across full-stack, backend, infrastructure, systems, tools, cloud, databases, and customer-facing products.
• Manage an assigned project end-to-end, including design, coding, and incorporating feedback.
• Learn to build a platform that scales quickly while maintaining quality and security.
• Work with a dedicated mentor and collaborate with engineers, interns, and company leaders.

Requirements

• Graduation in fall 2027 or spring 2028 with a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject.
• Implementation skills in a general-purpose programming language such as Python, Java, or C++.
• Good knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and object-oriented programming principles.
• Ability and motivation to solve ambiguous problems collaboratively.
• Apply only for the Winter 2027 internship, running from January through April.
