Staff IT Operations Engineer

Technology company operating Rocket Now, a food delivery service in Japan, through hirify.global’s Japanese subsidiary.

What you will do

• Lead and continuously improve IT services and endpoint operations.
• Analyze and automate high-volume service tickets to improve operational efficiency.
• Provide hands-on support for IT devices, infrastructure, and networking.
• Monitor LAN, WAN, and WLAN systems and troubleshoot issues with vendors.
• Manage the complete IT asset lifecycle, including procurement, deployment, maintenance, decommissioning, reporting, and compliance.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and support IT change management and global project implementations.

Requirements

• 5–10+ years of relevant IT operations experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong proficiency in endpoint management, network troubleshooting, and IT asset management.
• Experience with Windows, macOS, Active Directory, MDM solutions, and enterprise ticketing tools such as ServiceNow.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Business-level English and Japanese communication skills required.

Nice to have

• ITIL or PMP certification.
• Experience supporting large-scale user environments.
• Familiarity with data center infrastructure, including UPS, CRAC, and rack or power management.
• Experience leading process improvements and service automation initiatives.
