Senior Internal Auditor - Data Analytics

hirify.global operates a Group Internal Audit function providing independent assurance and advice on control processes and risk management across the Group.

What you will do

• Conduct risk-based internal audits across hirify.global business units and Group functions.
• Design and execute data-driven audit procedures, including transaction analysis and anomaly detection.
• Extract, clean, and analyse large datasets using SQL and Python.
• Build reusable analytics tools and scripts and translate technical outputs into clear audit insights.
• Lead selected audits from scoping and planning through reporting and follow-up of recommendations.
• Support the development of the Internal Audit data analytics and AI strategy, continuous auditing, and automation initiatives.

Requirements

• Previous internal audit experience; risk or consultancy experience may be considered for exceptional candidates.
• Data extraction and analysis capability with experience in tools such as Tableau, SQL, Power BI, Alteryx, or Python.
• Experience in business intelligence, data visualisation, continuous auditing, monitoring, or automation.
• Ability to plan and deliver end-to-end audits with minimal day-to-day supervision.
• Ability to translate audit objectives, risks, and controls into defensible, repeatable analytics and communicate findings to senior stakeholders.
• Fluent English, strong written and oral communication, sound audit judgement, and effective relationship-building skills.

Nice to have

• Degree in accountancy, computer science, information systems, data science, mathematics, or a similar discipline.
• Relevant professional accountancy, audit, or other professional certification.
• Experience within insurance.
• Experience with AI, machine learning, and emerging technologies.
