Senior Manager - Internal Audit

What you will do

• Deliver the Board-approved Internal Audit plan globally across Finance, Procurement, Technology, Retail, Marketing, Customer Services, Logistics, Warehousing, IT, and shared services.
• Provide assurance that risk-taking is controlled, mitigation strategies are in place, and risk exposure is reduced.
• Identify new internal and external risks and conduct audits in new and dynamic areas.
• Provide advisory support to the business and respond to management requests from the Executive team.
• Build stakeholder relationships, support implementation of audit findings and recommendations, and contribute to continuous improvement of Internal Audit processes.
• Develop audit engagement programmes and methodology, present findings to senior leadership, and report directly to senior stakeholders when required.

Requirements

• Previous Internal Audit experience.
• ACA, ACCA, or ICAS qualification with a minimum of 4 years of post-qualification experience.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Ability to build strong relationships quickly, promote engagement, and maximise the effectiveness of Internal Audit.
• Forward-thinking, highly motivated, strong-minded, and adaptable in conditions of directional change and ambiguity.
• Line management and leadership skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt communication style to the situation.
• Experience discussing contentious matters, influencing stakeholders, negotiating actions and deadlines, and managing difficult conversations.

Nice to have

• CIA qualification.
• Experience in data analytics, BI, SQL reporting, or Tableau.
• Experience auditing IT systems and software.
