Business Development Solution Architect (Satellite Systems)

Location: Duluth, Georgia, United States; live within the Atlanta metropolitan area and support regular onsite work at the hirify.global Duluth office.

Salary: $180,500–$285,000 annually. Specific locations in the San Jose, San Francisco Bay Area, and New York City metropolitan areas have a separate base pay range of $224,500–$336,500 annually.

What you will do

• Develop markets, qualify opportunities, manage customer relationships, conduct competitive intelligence, and create business development strategies.
• Lead technical solution development for active pursuits, including competitive costing and proposal alignment with customer requirements.
• Present coordinated solutions and costing to senior business leaders, identify risks, and develop mitigation plans.
• Maintain customer and program relationships across the lifecycle, connecting new pursuits with active program performance and sustainment.
• Support ISR strategy development, IRAD prioritization, and technical problem solving for complex system issues.
• Coordinate with other Business Growth Solution Architects on joint pursuits and system-of-systems offerings.

Requirements

• Strong systems engineering competencies in RF communications, antennas, modems, waveforms, and the DoD Risk Management Framework.
• Solid understanding of phased array antenna design and operations.
• At least 12 years of experience with a BS degree or equivalent experience, or 10 years with an MS in engineering or a related field.
• Experience leading customer meetings and cross-discipline teams, translating technology value to customers, and working across organizational boundaries.
• Excellent oral, written, presentation, negotiation, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• US citizenship and the ability to obtain a United States Top Secret clearance with SCI access are required. Ability to travel is also required.

Nice to have

• Experience developing satellite ground station solutions for government end users and allocating mission-level requirements to subsystem and unit-level requirements.
• Knowledge of analog, hybrid, and digital phased array antennas.
• Experience synthesizing multiple inputs into technical solutions and identifying opportunities from DoD and Intelligence Community initiatives.
• Knowledge of the DoD space and counterspace acquisition landscape and an established Intelligence Community industry network.
