Senior NetIQ Engineer (NetIQ OpenText)

Location: Toronto, ON, Canada — Toronto-81 Bay. Work arrangement details will be discussed during the interview. Candidates must be legally eligible to work at the specified location and may need a valid work or study permit.

What you will do

• Provide hands-on production support for NetIQ OpenText Identity Manager services, investigating incidents and prioritizing work by severity, risk, and business impact.
• Configure, deploy, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot IDM applications, integrations, drivers, and connected systems.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement sustainable fixes that improve service stability, security, and client satisfaction.
• Coordinate changes, releases, maintenance activities, and project delivery with Engineering, QA, Infrastructure, Security, vendors, and application owners.
• Assess change impacts and recommend improvements to procedures, standards, and technical solutions.

Requirements

• Experience with NetIQ OpenText Identity Manager technologies, production support, and enterprise application environments.
• Hands-on experience supporting, maintaining, troubleshooting, and enhancing IDM drivers, connectors, integrations, and configurations.
• Knowledge of provisioning, authentication, authorization, user lifecycle management, access controls, and operational support processes.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, incident investigation, risk assessment, and root cause analysis skills.
• Experience with application production support, IT operations, XML, XSLT, SOAP APIs, and C# scripting.
• Legal eligibility to work in Canada at the specified location is required.
