Senior Investment Tax Analyst (Partnership Tax)

Salary: $65,000–$90,000 annual base salary plus annual target bonus

What you will do

• Prepare and review partnership tax workpapers, including partner allocations of taxable income and expenses.
• Prepare and review income tax provisions, investment security analyses, and tax estimates.
• Analyze fund structures and advise on the flow-through treatment of income and expense items.
• Prepare federal and state tax returns, schedules, attachments, and reportable transaction analyses.
• File tax returns with federal and local tax agencies and clear audit points.
• Train colleagues and collaborate with Financial Reporting and Fund Accounting teams.

Requirements

• BS or BA degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent work experience.
• At least two years of partnership tax experience.
• Strong understanding of tax concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Understanding of financial statements, fund accounting reports, and spreadsheets.
• Knowledge of mutual fund tax code sections, forms, elections, and security tax adjustments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, strong client service, problem-solving, and project execution skills.
