Material Handler, GLC Receiving (7:00pm - 7:00am)

Location: Onsite in Marion, North Carolina, United States. Night shift from 7:00pm to 7:00am. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary: $21.60 per hour.

What you will do

• Pick raw materials and production supplies by hand, forklift, or other equipment and deliver them to designated areas.
• Collect materials and empty containers from production areas and transport them to the warehouse or other departments.
• Receive inter-plant shipping orders, prepare shipments, and load materials into trailers and box trucks.
• Secure trailers during loading and perform forklift pre-operation checks and battery changes when required.
• Use ERP and other software systems to update inventory locations and complete daily and weekly tasks.
• Report safety, quality, mechanical, and inventory discrepancy issues while maintaining a clean work area under 6S principles.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent; must be at least 18 years old.
• Basic written and oral English sufficient for communicating with team members, vendors, suppliers, and customers.
• Ability to understand safety and quality instructions, read work instructions and drawings, and perform basic mathematics.
• Previous forklift experience and the ability to obtain Powered Industrial Truck Certification.
• Moderate computer skills and strong attention to detail and organizational ability.
• Ability to operate a forklift continuously, lift and carry up to 75 pounds frequently, and pass the Powered Industrial Truck physical.
