Director, Data Platform Governance

Location: Toronto, ON — Toronto-81 Bay. The work arrangement and proportion of on-site and remote work will be discussed during the interview.

What you will do

• Lead data platform governance, application delivery, and production support for large and critical applications.
• Manage ongoing operations of applications and infrastructure while maintaining operational standards, vendor governance, and business requirements.
• Lead internal technology change initiatives and drive innovation across areas of responsibility.
• Coordinate with internal partners, executives, project teams, stakeholders, and business partners to assess disruptions and implement application programs.
• Facilitate and coordinate solution design across multiple workstreams.
• Monitor project finances, timelines, quality, and cost, recommending improvements where appropriate.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in technical architecture, solutions design, project management, and senior executive stakeholder management.
• Technical depth and breadth sufficient to guide experienced technical specialists and identify effective IT development or usage opportunities.
• Demonstrated leadership and coaching experience with diverse, high-performing teams.
• Strong analytical, conceptual, interpersonal, communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Legal eligibility to work in Canada at the specified Toronto location, with a valid work or study permit where applicable.
