Full Stack Developer (ASP.NET)

Location: Onsite at the Toronto Office in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada

What you will do

• Design, build, and operate scalable features for SureTrend, a multi-tenant food safety and quality management SaaS platform.
• Develop backend services and APIs with ASP.NET Core/.NET and frontend applications with Angular, TypeScript, Nuxt, and Vue.js.
• Architect and optimize relational databases, including schemas, indexes, migrations, execution plans, and high-throughput data processing.
• Build Python microservices in Docker containers on Kubernetes and support secure, highly available service integrations.
• Instrument Azure services, monitor production systems with Application Insights and KQL, and improve service reliability.
• Create technical designs, automated tests, code reviews, and Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines while collaborating with Product, UX, and QA.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong experience building high-performance web services and APIs with ASP.NET Core/.NET.
• Experience developing responsive single-page applications with Angular and TypeScript and/or Nuxt/Vue.js.
• Solid knowledge of relational database design, schema migrations, execution-plan analysis, and performance indexing.
• Ability to troubleshoot defects across the browser, API, and database layers.
• Experience with clean code, unit and integration testing, code reviews, and Azure DevOps or Git-based CI/CD.

Nice to have

• Experience with multi-tenant SaaS platforms, strict data isolation, scalability, and security.
• Experience with high-throughput systems, messaging, batching, idempotency, backpressure, or database contention mitigation.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure, Application Insights, KQL, OpenTelemetry, Datadog, or Grafana.
• Experience with Python microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, and infrastructure as code using Bicep, ARM templates, or Terraform.
• Experience integrating connected laboratory or physical devices, including intermittent connectivity, retries, buffering, and data serialization.
