Member of the Technical Staff - Software (AI/Fullstack)

What you will do

• Build the core full-stack platform powering AI-driven chip design.
• Develop high-performance systems and intuitive interfaces for chip engineers to interact with intelligent agents.
• Design the platform architecture and make technical decisions across the full stack.
• Integrate AI features and models in collaboration with the machine learning team.
• Index massive codebases and build scalable database-backed systems.
• Ship features quickly and iterate based on feedback.

Requirements

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, Python, and C++ with extensive full-stack experience.
• Strong full-stack or backend experience, including RESTful APIs and relational or NoSQL databases.
• Experience with frontend component libraries, state management patterns, and AI coding agents.
• Comfort working with Linux, virtual environments, Docker, Git, and CI/CD systems such as GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
• Ability to work on-site in Palo Alto, California.

Nice to have

• Experience at an AI startup or building coding-agent platforms.
• Founding engineer or early-hire experience at a high-growth startup, or experience at Quant.
• Competitive programming achievements, recognition at IMO, IOI, IPho, or similar competitions, or published research.
• Exposure to AWS, GCP, Azure, and Kubernetes.
• Ability to learn new technologies and frameworks quickly.
