Analytics Engineering Manager (Fintech)

Location: United States (Remote); remote-friendly within the US

Salary: $220K–$260K annually, plus equity

What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of analytics engineers building and maintaining data pipelines and analytical models.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Growth, and Operations to deliver scalable data solutions and reporting.
• Establish data best practices, governance, quality standards, testing, and documentation.
• Design and optimize analytics infrastructure for reliability and scalability.
• Prioritize analytics projects, oversee delivery, and communicate with stakeholders.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or business intelligence, including 2+ years in technical leadership or management.
• Advanced expertise in SQL, Databricks, and dbt.
• Experience architecting and scaling data transformation pipelines in modern cloud environments.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, analytics testing, and documentation.
• Experience collaborating with Product, Engineering, and Marketing stakeholders to deliver business impact.
• Experience leading and developing high-performance technical teams; a proactive builder and executor.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with modern software engineering practices and the ability to ramp up on Node, TypeScript, NestJS, Kubernetes, AWS, and React Native.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code or Cursor.
