Senior Manager, Data Engineering (Fintech)

What you will do

• Own and execute the data platform roadmap from custodial ingestion through the security master and AI-ready data products.
• Lead and grow the data engineering team while setting standards for technical quality.
• Own reference data, corporate actions, and golden-source resolution across multiple vendors.
• Design canonical models for accounts, positions, and transactions across Schwab, Fidelity, Pershing, and other custodians.
• Drive data quality, reconciliation, lineage, and governance for regulated datasets.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in data platform roles, including 4+ years managing data teams.
• Deep experience with security masters, instrument reference data, corporate actions, and multi-vendor golden-source resolution.
• Prior experience on the data team at a broker/dealer.
• Exceptional data modeling skills with PostgreSQL, SQL, and Python.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS, including S3, Lambda, ECS Fargate, Glue, Athena, and Step Functions.
• Ability to work in a hybrid setup in New York, NY.

• Experience running a global or distributed data team.
• Bitemporal or point-in-time financial data modeling experience.
• Experience with data governance, lineage, and fine-grained access control.
• Experience supporting AI/ML systems with production data products.
