Associate Manager, New Verticals

Location: Vancouver, BC or Toronto, ON, Canada

Base salary: $116,000–$145,000 CAD per year, plus potential equity grants.

What you will do

• Develop strategies that improve fulfillment costs, variable profit, and the long-term economics of New Verticals businesses across Canada.
• Identify and prioritize opportunities using market insights, data analysis, and financial modeling.
• Design and execute pilots and experiments with Analytics, Product, Engineering, Finance, and Accounting.
• Lead initiatives through planning, product and operational changes, communications, training, rollout, and post-launch measurement.
• Build SQL-based reporting and analytical frameworks to evaluate opportunities and inform investment decisions.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to launch initiatives and manage dependencies, risks, and timelines.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in product operations, product strategy, business operations, strategy and operations, consulting, or a related field.
• Experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives in a fast-paced or high-growth environment.
• Ability to structure ambiguous problems, define clear plans, and influence Product, Engineering, Analytics, and business stakeholders without direct authority.
• Experience designing experiments, evaluating results, and making strategic recommendations.
• Strong analytical skills, including work with large datasets, financial models, and SQL.
• Bachelor’s degree and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
