Lead Software Engineer (Python)

Location: Hybrid in Richardson, Texas, with candidates required to live within a 180-mile radius of the hub and work part of the time in the office.

Salary: $107,000–$135,000 per year, plus potential yearly incentive pay of up to 10% of base salary.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Python, PySpark, Angular, and Go.
• Develop GenAI, agent-based, and LLM-powered solutions for testing and product capabilities.
• Build and optimize AI and cloud workflows, including pipelines, orchestration, and integrations.
• Collaborate with modernization teams to accelerate software development lifecycle delivery.
• Lead small development teams and collaborate cross-functionally on test strategy, operational workflows, and delivery practices.
• Continuously improve AI capabilities by evaluating emerging technologies and best practices.

Requirements

• Professional experience with Python, PySpark, APIs, JSON, TypeScript, and Angular; React experience is also required.
• Experience with AWS services, including Lambda, EC2, SQS, S3, CloudFront, API Gateway, SNS, and Route 53.
• Experience in cloud architecture and development, Terraform, and DevSecOps practices.
• Applied experience with Generative AI, agent-based AI solutions, and LLM integration and deployment.
• Ability to resolve highly complex problems, communicate effectively, collaborate across functions, and work independently or in a team.
• Must be eligible to work lawfully in the United States immediately; visa sponsorship, including H-1B sponsorship, is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience with Go for backend development.
• Property and casualty insurance experience.
• Experience working within an onsite/offshore delivery model.
