Solutions Engineer (Drones)

Location: Office-based at hirify.global GK HQ in Tokyo, Japan; travel of 50–75% is required for customer engagements, field activities, deployments, team onsites, and company events.

What you will do

• Understand customer needs, identify success metrics, and create tailored product demonstrations and field trials.
• Set up, operate, demonstrate, and troubleshoot drone systems for customers and partners.
• Lead system validation, customer implementation, and successful deployments.
• Support responses to RFIs, RFPs, and other technical documentation.
• Represent customer feedback internally and influence product development and engineering strategies.
• Support go-to-market activities and business initiatives.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
• Technical background in professional drone applications, radio systems, networks, software, security, prototyping, or electronics.
• Understanding of the small uncrewed aircraft regulatory landscape and experience with industries such as defense, electrical utilities, or AEC.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with experience implementing new technologies for diverse clients.
• Native Japanese speaker required.
• Ability to read and write English; communication in English is required.
