Product Champion (Cybersecurity)

Location: Langley AFB, Virginia, United States; onsite at the customer site 5 days a week, with up to 25% CONUS travel and OCONUS travel as necessary.

Salary: $103,467–$160,000 per year.

What you will do

• Support U.S. Air Force cyber operations by operationalizing JCRS-D and Big Data Platform capabilities for customer use.
• Conduct threat hunting, cyber data analysis, quality assurance checks, data-feed evaluation, and reporting.
• Collect customer requirements, create use cases, build operational roadmaps, and communicate requirements to developers.
• Provide technical support, troubleshooting, training, and adoption assistance for platform users.
• Translate data streams into analytical products, statistical models, and customer-facing visualizations.
• Coordinate with engineering, development, and customer experience teams to align DevSecOps delivery with customer timelines.

Requirements

• Current TS/SCI U.S. Government security clearance and U.S. citizenship are required.
• 5+ years of experience in DoD cyber, agile development, and/or big data with a bachelor's degree in business, a technical field, or a related field; alternatively, 3 years of relevant experience with a related master's degree, or 9 years of relevant experience with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior government or military experience with MARFORCYBER, DCSA, DISA, Army Cyber, U.S. Cyber Command, U.S. Air Force AFCYBER, or 10th Fleet/Navy Cyber.
• Experience managing complex technical projects or programs and working with customers to support product adoption.
• Knowledge of Defensive Cyber Operations and threat-hunting methodologies, including the ability to identify threats beyond traditional SIEM detection.
• Experience with cyber data analysis, continuous monitoring, intelligence, reporting, big data hunting, cyber tools, defensive toolkits, endpoint and network sensors, SIEMs, and threat-sharing platforms such as MISP.
• Advanced experience with the MITRE ATT&CK framework and associated TTPs.
• Experience with SQL querying and Python for data science, data ingestion, modeling, analytics, or automated hunts.
• Understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure, systems monitoring, and networking; strong communication, presentation, interviewing, organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, manage multiple deadlines, maintain quality, and speak in a public forum.
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 25%, sometimes on short notice, and work onsite at Langley AFB, Virginia, 5 days a week.

Nice to have

• Experience interfacing with, consulting for, and training customers.
• CISSP, CEH, or a similar certification.
• DoD 8140/8570 compliance certifications, as required by the customer.
• Experience with software engineering, cloud technologies, and cybersecurity.
• Technical background for determining system requirements and supporting design and estimating with engineering and management.
• Experience with BDP, JCRS-D, or data lakes.
